Workshop Design
Based on our understanding of your needs and to "maximize developing a team culture", APLS Group is recommending the following Team Building series:
PART 1: Pre Workshop: Data Collection from SALES AND ENGINEERING Departments(via e-mail and phone conversations).
Data will be collected and summarized for use during a Team Building Event to support “developing a team culture”.
PART 2: Team Building Event
Learning About YouExercise
This exercise will entail participants creating a collage from a variety of materials provided based on questions from the facilitator.
Understanding Self & Others
This section will contain a communication and collaborative skills building activity to build synergy and increase trust and effectiveness. One example to be considered is the MBTI or DISC –a tool that is used to understand and discuss their own way of working and the preferences of others.
Other games or simulations under consideration are: Leadout, Swamped and Jungle Escape. Each of these will provide a powerful and fun way to look at leadership, group decision making, conflict, etc…
Data Collection, Feedback and Debrief
PART 3: Customized Team Building Workshop
We will design and deliver a customized Team Building workshop based on the identified topics outlined in the Understanding of the Client's Needs section above in conjunction with data received from the Team Building event.

Training & Development Program Offerings
Effective Presentation Skills
This training program is designed to improve a person’s ability to present information and ideas to others. Participants in the program learn a wide array of tools and techniques for making themselves and their message have greater impact. They work on vocal techniques, body positioning, message content and visual aids. During this two day program, participants have the opportunity to give four presentations; the final presentation is on a relevant business topic. Participants receive feedback after each presentation. In addition, all presentations are videotaped for participants. This takeaway provides participants with an opportunity to critique their own skills and develop actions for improvement.
Myers Briggs (MBTI)
APLS Group uses this assessment tool in many of its training programs and offers programs that are focused on using this instrument as a way to understand individual differences and offer new solutions for interacting with others. Participants will learn to understand and discuss their own preferences and the preferences of others, work collaboratively with different personality styles, use inclusive behaviors to draw upon all resources in the organization and gain insights about team behaviors and characteristics.
Delighting Customers:
This is askills-based service-training program that builds customer loyalty and competitive advantage through "delightful" customer experiences. It creates a customer-focused culture for face-to-face or telephone service reps in either non-technical or technical arenas. Delighting Customers is offered in a variety of flexible formats.
Delighting Customers: Call Center Version
This intensive facilitator-led, service skills training program is designed for call centers and help desks. In one day or eight one-hour modules, your technical and non-technical phone professionals learn to build customer loyalty with even the most challenging customers while increasing your call center productivity and quality.
Train the Trainer
Trainers sometimes need refreshers and opportunities to learn about new tools they can add to their too toolbox. This program offers support to trainers who want to gain new ideas around facilitation, communication, delivering material, giving feedback, listening, skills building, and action planning.
Change Management
This program, based on William Bridges best selling book, teaches participants how to more effectively manage organizational changes. As a result of this workshop participants will be able to explain the importance of effectively managing change, learn William Bridges’ three phase Transition Model and develop change strategies using this Transition Model.
